Armed Robbery Caught On Surveillance

The Sacramento Police Department needs the community's help in identifying three suspects involved in an armed robbery.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 8:46 p.m., three armed suspects entered the Circle "K" located at 8321 Folsom Blvd., and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. The clerk gave the suspects money. They then fled the store to a nearby vehicle. The vehicle was described as a newer four-door sedan. All three suspects wore bandanas over their faces.

Suspect #1 was a White male adult, 18-25 years old. He was wearing a bandana over his face, a black jacket, and blue jeans. He was armed with a small handgun.

Suspect #2 was a White male adult, wearing a bandana over his face, and a black jacket.

Suspect #3 was a Black male adult, wearing a bandana over his face, a black jacket and blue jeans.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip by texting to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Any more news on this one? The getaway car might be a point of interest, and it's a shame that it could not be identified. At the very least, this event did not end in bloodshed...

You are right, Harvey! It's a good thing nobody got hurt in this robbery. I'm also curious about the results after this video had been released. Maybe they could track all four-door sedans in the area and separate those suspicious ones. This may be the stolen video.

Have the police arrested them? If they have, the security camera certainly played a big part in leading the officers to nab the suspects. It's been 3 years since this incident; I really do hope they learned their lesson in the name of the law.
