A two alarm fire broke out at the Kaiser Hospital in South Sacramento. The fire was reported at 2:04 A.M. Firefighters arrived and found a moderate amount of smoke in Medical Office Building #1.
The fire was found in an office on the second floor. A fire sprinkler had controlled the fire, but Firefighters had to stretch their hose a long distance into the building to completely extinguish the fire.
No patients were affected and none had to be evacuated. The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no reported injuries. Firefighters from Sacramento Metro and Consumnes Fire also responded.
