Roseville Police Arrest Women For Vehicle Theft, Other Charges

At 7:45 a.m. on Sunday April 12, a Roseville Police officer was patrolling a residential neighborhood near Foothills Boulevard and Baseline Road, and contacted two women who were driving through the area. The officer discovered that the Honda Accord they were driving had been stolen from Newcastle the previous evening. The women were in possession of shaved vehicle keys and other burglar's tools, and checks, credit cards, mail, and other items of suspected stolen property. One of the items, a portable GPS navigation unit, had been taken in a March 30 vehicle break-in in Roseville.

Julissa Maria Cisneros, 31, and Tanya Rae Hailey, 31, both of Sacramento, were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and possession of burglar's tools. Hailey was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released from the Placer County Jail on $10,000 bail bonds.
