Suspected Car Burglars Arrested

At 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, Roseville Police officers responded to a report of three males who were looking into parked vehicles in a hotel parking lot in the 100 block of North Sunrise Avenue. Roseville officers arrived within minutes and detained the suspects. One vehicle in the parking lot had its trunk open. The Hyundai sedan the suspects were driving had been reported stolen from Sacramento last week. A search of the Hyundai produced suspected stolen property, methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia, and burglar's tools.

Devin Daniel Reed, 21, of El Dorado Hills was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale, possessing stolen property, tampering with a vehicle, possessing burglar's tools, prowling on private property, possessing drug parphernalia, conspiracy, and a Sacramento County warrant for possession of stolen property. He is being held without bail in the Placer County Jail.

Vladimir V. Martynov, 23, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine for sale, using a false name, possession of burglar's tools, prowling on private property, resisting arrest, conspiracy, and a Sacramento County warrant for auto theft. He is being held without bail in the Placer County Jail.

Aleksandr Nikolayevi Khavrenko, 22, of North Highlands was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of stolen property, prowling on private property, possession of burglar's tools, and conspiracy. He was released after posting a $15,000 bail bond.
