Spa Owner Arrested For Identity Theft, Two Other Felonies

The owner of a Granite Bay spa and salon was arrested this afternoon on three felony charges following the service of a search warrant at her business.

Heather Lynn Collins, 33, was taken into custody by Placer County Sheriff’s detectives at her business, the Radiance Spa and Salon at 1895 East Roseville Parkway on charges of identity theft, fraudulent use of an access card and grand theft.

Forty former spa customers filed complaints that their bank cards were double- and triple-billed after visiting the spa. Collins also fraudulently charged customers for services and products using two non-existent companies, Balance Body Works and Enchanted Skin Services.

The loss to customers is unknown and the investigation is still ongoing. Anyone who was a customer at Radiance Spa and Salon and who feels they may have been charged improperly are asked to contact Det. Jim Hudson at (530) 889-7800.
