Sacramento Violent Crimes Task Force Seeks Information Regarding “Mullet-Junkie Bandit” Bank Robbery Suspect

The Sacramento Violent Crimes Task Force consisting of FBI Agents and Sacramento County Sheriffs Robbery Detectives, is seeking information regarding an individual responsible for a series of bank robberies in Sacramento and Elk Grove, California.

On November 13, 2008, an Asian male entered the Bank of America, 7707 Laguna Blvd., Elk Grove, California, brandishing a black handgun, and demanded money from the victim teller. Afterwards, the robber fled the bank on foot.

The FBI believes this is the same man who robbed the Washington Mutual Bank, 9165 Kiefer Blvd, Sacramento, California, on November 14, 2008, and again on December 9, 2008.

The Task Force has dubbed the man the “Mullet-Junkie” based upon the mullet hair style reported by witnesses and photographs.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to contact the FBI in Sacramento at (916) 481-9110, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
