Roseville Police Accepting Applications For Citizen Police Academy

The Roseville Police Department is now accepting applications for Citizen's Police Academy, which begins March 10. Citizen Police Academy is open to those who live or work in the Roseville area and are at least 18 years of age.

Citizen Police Academy is a good opportunity for private citizens to learn how they can help prevent crime and partner with local law enforcement. Participants will meet Police Chief Blair and other police staff, and learn about the operations, organization and policies of the Roseville Police Department.

The Roseville Police Department offers Citizen Police Academy every year or two. The next six-night academy begins March 10 and continues on March 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19. All classes are held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Roseville Police Department, 1051 Junction Blvd.

For more information, call the Roseville Police Department Community Services Unit at (916)774-5057, or download a brochure and application here. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
