Law Enforcement Agencies Team Up To Find Stolen Property; Arrest Made

The Rocklin Police Department arrested a man today after being linked to stolen property from recent car burglaries that occurred in Rocklin. One of the thefts occurred in the suspect’s own neighborhood.

During the early afternoon hours of January 22nd, the Placer County Probation Department asked the Rocklin Police Department to arrest a male subject for a probation violation that was independent of recent Rocklin thefts. Officers went to the residence and found property that had been reported as stolen within the last several weeks from vehicles in various neighborhoods, including a cell phone, vehicle keys, and personal checks. Officers immediately linked the property to three separate vehicle burglaries.

Arrested was Jonas Robert Pohan, 30 years, of Rocklin, for possession of stolen property and a probation violation. He was booked at Placer County Jail.
