Sacramento Police Officers Risk Their Lives At Apartment Fire In Natomas

3 Sacramento Police Officers are being praised for their efforts in rescuing civilians from a two alarm apartment fire last night in the Natomas area of Sacramento. The Officers were called to 842 Rancho Roble Way for a report of a man threatening suicide by fire.

On their arrival they found the man’s ground floor apartment unit fully involved in fire. They were able to pull the man to safety. They were then notified that there were people trapped in the units above and next to the fire. The Officers had to force their way into a locked door and also climbed a stairway to rescue citizens above the fire. They had fire all around them while going up the stairs.

If not for their efforts, this could have been a horrible tragedy. The man who threatened suicide and started the fire has been placed under arrest.
