On Thursday, December 25, 2008, at approximately 12:07 a.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 2300 block of North Avenue on the report that someone may have been shot. Officers found a male Hispanic in his 20’s who had been shot. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Sacramento Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to the scene. At this time, it appears that an argument escalated resulting in the victim being shot. No suspect description is available at this time.
