The Folsom Police Department needs the public’s help in generating any information that may help explain how an elderly gentleman returned home from his morning walk with significant injuries to his body. Investigators believe the injuries the victim received are consistent with being struck and dragged by a vehicle.
On Sunday, November 23, 2008, at approximately 5:00 am, Victim Ken Bandow, a 78 year old Folsom resident, went out for his routine 4-5 mile walk in the Briggs Ranch community. Several hours later he returned home with facial injuries, three missing teeth, and injuries to his knees, right hand and left foot. There was bruising to his toes and his shoes were very warn with part of the soles peeled away. The victim did not have any recollection of how he sustained his injuries.
