Folsom Police Arrest Driver For 2nd Felony Hit And Run

The Folsom Police Department arrested Maximillian Sullivan, 21 years old, of Sacramento, for felony hit and run, driving under the influence and a probation violation. This was Sullivan’s third arrest by Folsom Police officers for motor vehicle-related crimes since November 3, 2008.

On Monday, December 1, 2008, at approximately 7:36 pm, the Folsom Police Department received a report of possible hit and run traffic collision in the residential area of Perraud and Alezane Drives. Witnesses reported that the possible suspect vehicle, a GMC pick-up, had sped away. When officers arrived at the scene of the collision, they found a 55 year old female victim of the hit and run who said she had been rear ended by the suspect’s truck. The victim, a Folsom resident, had complaints of pain to her head and neck. She was transported to Kaiser Roseville by Folsom Fire Department personnel.

At the time of the collision, witnesses reported seeing a blue GMC pickup truck fleeing the area. Officers located the suspect vehicle parked in the 100 block of Price Way, and the suspected driver walking away from the vehicle. The suspected driver, Sullivan, was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail.

On Saturday, October 24, 2008, at approximately 11:40 am, the same vehicle was involved in a hit and run in the area of Riley Street and Sutter Street. The suspect vehicle fled the scene. The victim, a Folsom resident, was transported to Mercy Folsom Hospital with complaint of pain. That investigation was still ongoing on Novemeber 3, 2008 when the police department received a complaint of a reckless driver at approximately 8:09 pm, in the area of a Wal-Mart parking lot in the 1000 block of Riley Street. Officers contacted Maximillian Sullivan, who was positively identified as the reckless driver by witnesses.

Additionally, Maximillian was found to be the suspect driver involved in the hit and run collision from October 24, 2008. Maximillian was arrested for felony hit and run and outstanding warrants and booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
