Attempted Armed Robbery

On Monday, December 01, 2008, at approximately 10:55 am, two masked suspects entered the El Pasito Check Cashing Store, located at 825 East Street, #114, Woodland, CA 95776. One suspect approached the window, displayed a medium-sized black handgun, and demanded money (in Spanish). The clerk stepped behind a partition, where she remained until the suspects fled the area on foot, eastbound through the shopping center. The clerk notified police of the robbery by calling 911.

Neither suspect received any money during the attempted robbery. The store has video surveillance footage of the attempted robbery, which police will be reviewing for evidence.

Suspect #1, the suspect with the gun, was described as a Hispanic Male Adult, approximately 5' 08" to 6' 00" tall, approximately 160 to 170 lbs., skinny build, wearing a black hood, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and black gloves.

Suspect #2 was described as a Hispanic Male Adult, approximately 5' 08" to 6' 00" tall, approximately 160 to 170 lbs., skinny build, wearing a black hood, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white and black shoes, and black gloves.
