Sacramento County Coroner Requests Public’s Help To Identify Woman

The Coroner’s Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying an elderly woman that collapsed on the sidewalk in front of Raley’s Supermarket on Freeport Boulevard near Potrero Way on Monday, 11/24/08 around 11:00 am. The woman died shortly after being transported by paramedics to The University of California, Davis Medical Center. No foul play is suspected at this time and the cause of death is pending further investigation and forensic testing. The woman has the following characteristics:

Age: 60-80 years

Race: Caucasian

Height: 5 feet, 3 inches

Weight: 109 lbs

Hair color: Brown with areas of gray

Eye color: Hazel

Scars: Vertical lower abdominal scar; appendectomy.

Clothing: Brown sweater and pants, striped turquoise/brown turtleneck shirt, and brown SAS brand size 8 ½ shoes

Other: Partial upper dental bridge; green Ann Klein brand round framed glasses; yellow metal earrings with hoops having three dangling white beads.

Anyone with information about the woman’s possible identity is asked to contact the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office at (916) 874-9320 and speak with a deputy coroner (Coroner case # 08-06327).
